I've found (Word 2003) you can create a new style using a symbol as the
style name.
It doesn't seem like a good idea, since depending on the symbol you
choose, you see different things in the style drop down, the style area
width, and the "Styles and Formatting" screen real gobbler.
One reason this may be allowed is so that styles can be appropriately
named in languages other than English. But if this is the intent, why
the inconsistencies in the interface?
