Symbols - Quotation Marks - Conversion from WP

Documents were converted from Wordperfect to Word. Some users can open these
documents and they work fine in Word 2002 and other users/computers have
symbol errors. For example quotation marks should appear as " ", however,
they appear as A @. Does anyone have any suggesstions as to why it
appears okay for some and not for others.

Those who see quotation marks have the WP Typographic Symbols font
installed. Although a "solution" would be to install this font for all
users, there would still be a problem in documents sent outside the
organization. Much better to attack the documents on a system that doesn't
have the font installed and use Find and Replace to replace the (missing)
symbol characters with the correct characters in the default paragraph font.
