Sync application data with MS Project

I would like to synchronize data of my application with MS Project File
(2003/2007). I should should be able to update my application's data using MS
project & the other way also.
There should be the method/way to make this possible?
I guess it can be done by making a utility or using a project plug in.

Can someone help me in this matter?
