Sync application for iPhone and Entourage.

Hello, everyone.


I am trying to find an application to sync Entourage with my new
iPhone. There seems to be several available but I can't tell which is
really the best one. All I am trying to do is to sync my (1) Tasks,
(2) Notes, (3) Address Book and (4) Calendar in Entourage with my
iPhone so that I can carry the information with me. I am not
interested in e-mails as I have my iPhone set-up to get duplicates of
all my mail.

In addition to information I have found on using sync services on the
Mac I have also found "The Missing Sync" and "e2sync" which are
supposed to do the job.

Which of the available applications do you think is the best ? To
define best I would have to say that I am looking for something that
is simple, works reliably and with a minimum amount of "tweaking"
required.

Any suggestions will be very appreciated.

Two things I'd suggest:

1. Turn on in entourage prefs sync Contacts, Calendars, tasks and
Notes. This will get your contacts and calendar to the iPhone fine.

2. Buy the Missing Sync for the iPhone at Markspace.com. This includes
fliq Notes and Tasks which will sync the Informtion to Notes and iCal
tasks (these tasks will then sync to Entourage). Markspace is the guru
of companies around sync

One thing to be aware of is that Entourage itself with sync services
can/does produce often odd sync behaviors. A scan of the forum will
reveal this. Make sure you have backups and Entourage, iCal and
Addressbook.
