Sync entourage and outlook w/ exchange

Hi all,

I´m new to the big (server and co) MS-world, I just used the MS stuff,
never actually digged deeper. But now I have a Mac and want to sync my
Mac with the PC, both running 2007 Outlook / Entourage.

A Exchange-Server-licence is available, but there is noone that works
with it, so I would have to read through the mans myself.

So simple question:

Is there a simple way to sync my Outlook and Entourage?
Can Exchange Server simply sync my calendar without making him
absolutely necessary (can´t connect from outside into the intranet)?
