Sync Entourage with palm treo

I am having trouble syncing my treo, it couldn't seem to see my contacts /
calendar in entourage. went to palm's site, said I needed to download sw
from microsoft site. it said I needed to download sp2 (11.2.0) and a
handheld sync installer.
got them both, sp2 wouldn't load because it couldn't find the software (?!),
I was really questioning if I needed it - I have entourage 11.2.5, I
couldn't find anywhere to tell me if I already have sp2 installed, maybe I
do.

the handheld sync installer fails to load - it says "installation failed
because microsoft component plugin was not found"

can someone help me?

Let's put it this way. You need the latest version of ENtourage (and you
can always use the auto-update from the Help menu in Entourage to make
sure you are up to date) and the conduit that comes with the version of
Office you have.

Where did you find it?? Are you sure it's not the installer for the
conduit for Office X??

If you really can't get it to work you still have the following option
if you are using Tiger:
- activate the Sync Services to sync the Entourage address book and
calendar synching with the system address book and iCal
- enable the sync through the Apple conduits to get the data going back
and forth with the Palm.
