You can use the Apple conduit to sync to the System address book and
iCal.
Then in Entourage you can enable SyncServices to sync this central
database to Entourage itself,

That's an interesting approach. The version of Entourage wasn't
mentioned - 04 or 08 as this is important as there is a significant
difference in the way sync happens between these two. 04 has its own
Palm conduit so there is no need to use sync services (big plus).
Secondly, I think the best approach is to invest a bit of money in
Missing Sync for the Palm. It is current, well updated and supported
as opposed to the Palm desktop which hasn't been touched in a long
time. Finally, all users should know that any sync to Entourage via
any means using Entourage's sync services is going to cause problems.
I again talked to Microsoft about this yesterday and they are working
hard on trying to fix this but have been unsuccessful so far. My
comment to them is unless this gets fixed you might as well get out of
the Mac market as their only real foot in the door is Entourage - lots
of options for Word Processors etc but nothing competes currently with
Entourage. They agreed and know this and said yes that unless its
fixed there is no point in remaining in the Mac market. Entourage just
needs to work and it will be fine but when you add in Ballmer's
comment that Entourage isn't Outlook it could easily drive more people
to Outlook either via Parallels etc or even directly to a PC.
