Environment: Exchange 2003 SP2. outlook 2003, user use cache mode.
Problem: user import contacts form pst file in outlook which set up using
cache mode. whenever send/receive, the contacts will gone from the contacts
folder and moved to folder Sync Issues--server failures subfolder. the
following the message:
16:49:35 Synchronizing server changes in folder 'Contacts'
16:49:35 Downloading from server 's5.santurcorp.com'
16:49:36 The following message had an error and synchronization of it
was skipped (0x000456):
16:49:36 "AAAA AAAA"
16:49:36 The following message had an error and synchronization of it
was skipped (0x000456):
16:49:36 "BBB BBB"
I have use scanpst.exe scan the import pst no error. I knew something is
wrong. local cache can not sync with server. But I do not know how to fix it.
Any advice?
The most interesting thing: after import the contacts and before click
send/receive, when using OWA to look at contacts, every contact is in the
contacts folder. This seems OWA link to outlook cache not the exchange server
mailbox.
Thanks
Shawn
