Anyone able to tell me how to sync contacts and calendar on my laptop

The only problem with slipstick is that you have to have 2 email addresses.
You cannot use the same email address on your laptop and desktop unless I
have misunderstood something somewhere. How do you get around that? I have
an outlook email address and an aol address but I did not check to see if it
would work with these two totally different addresses or do you need 2
addresses in outlook?

Have you actually looked at the link given?
Slipstick isn't an application. It's an Outlook site. The link given has a
list of methods and a large number of applications that can be used to synch
Outlook between two machines

Whoops sorry - I was thinking about ShareO which I found on Slipstick.
ShareO uses 2 email addresses.
