Sync Outlook 2003 w/ Website

Right now you can link a share point site to Outlook 2003 so that the
sharepoint contacts show up in Outlook. I have my own website and CRM
and want to add the same functionality. Does anyone know how this link
is done and where I can find some docuemntaiton on the subject?
