Sync Palm Treo 700P with Entourage 2004

I have a PowerBook G4 1.25 running OS 10.4.11. Installed on it is Entourage 2004. I recently purchased a Palm Treo 700P and heard that it will sync with Entourage. What I have tried has failed. I downloaded Handheld Sync Installer but when I try to install it I am told the installation failed because the Microsoft Component Plugin was not found. If I do a search for the Microsoft Component Plugin I can locate it in: Applications > Microsoft Office 2004 > Office > Microsoft Component Plugin.

Is this in the wrong place, do I need a newer updater? This one seems old from I believe 2002 or sometime a little while back. Any help would be appreciated
