Sync. problems with BCM 2003

Hello,

I have a little problem with the BCM 2003. The database of the BCM is on
a server in the internal LAN. A Laptop user uses the database offline.
When he accesses the LAN via VPN-tunnel and starts the BCM online it
asks what he shall do with the changed data. When the Laptop is in the
internal LAN and he starts the BCM online it overwrites the data on the
Laptop with the data from the internal LAN without asking. That is not
good because this deletes the changed informations on the Laptop. I have
no clue where the error may be, has anyone an idea what to do?

It shouldn't do that. If the records on the laptop are more recent
than the ones in the shared database, the records on the laptop should
be pushed to the shared database. Try Microsoft support.
