Sync problems with Sony Ericsson z530i & Outlook 2007

I’m having synchronisation problems. Any advice that anyone could shed on the
following would be gratefully received (I have deleted most of the IMEI
reference in the reports):

My setup: PC Suite 2.10.46 installed on XP Media Center SP3 PC, Outlook 2007
installed (fully up to date, Office Diagnostics indicates as such), z530i
updated using SEUS 2.9.1.10 to R6DA001 from R6AC001 using USB cable,
synchronisation ONLY attempted using USB cable (using internet via mobile
wiped my remaining £7.03 credit through two aborted ‘over-air’ downloads!).

When synchronising, pop-ups appear in both PC and mobile ‘phone, but after 2
progress bar increments on the PC are filled synchronisation fails and the
message ‘Session failed Communication interrupted’ shows on mobile.

From the detail in the reports it would appear that SE PC Suite 2.10.46
cannot find the default Outlook folders (if I am reading the message
correctly): how can I go about amending this if this IS the problem?

I’d be grateful for any help that anyone could give me: I admit that this is
baffling me. Needless to say, I'm also having problems synching a Sony Clie
(Palm OS 4.1) with Outlook 2007 (am using Palm Desktop 4.1.4e with Outlook
2007 conduits installed but data does not transfer to Outlook) :-(

PC suite is a third party application, usually supported on your mobile
phone site (At least it is with Nokia, that also uses PC Suite)

Thanks for your quick reply: I have e-mailed SE support and am (still)
awaiting a reply, so I thought I'd try from the other end (i.e. Microsoft
Outlook) in case someone there had encountered and solved this, or a similar
problem. I've done various web trawls up to now but found nothing definite,
hence the more direct approach to SE & MS. I guess I'll have to do the same
with PalmOne in case they can help with my Sony Clie N770 - Sony themselves
appear to have washed their hands of this and other models re. support (it's
a pity to have to buy a new PDA devices running Palm OS 4.1 "ought" to work
with Outlook 2007). :-(

I used to use PC Suite with a Nokia & had some problems, which required a
complete removal of the Suite, clean up of temp files & reboot prior to
reinstalling. The phone also used a cradle, which often failed to connect,
generally the phone was fine if connected directly to usb
