sync progress window

Hi,

I am using Office 2008 Entourage. the sync progress window appears in the upper left everytime mail is checked. I dont want to see this progress window. how do I stop it?

Well you can close the window, and it shouldn't come back by itself.
It's a regular window.

The window appears every minute during an email sync update. I never want the progress window to appear so I dont have to close it every minute.

Well I didn't mean for you to have to close it every minute, but if I
bring the window up (command-7) and then close it, I don't see it poping
up all by itself in the way you describe it.

yeah it opens and closes so fast that I have not had time to take care of it.

At the moment entourage has so many limitations to using thunderbird and citrix/outlook that I really cant use the application - so at the moment it remains closed and I am done troubleshooting it.
