can set it up to sync with entourage :(

Please help

If you have Tiger, Entourage 2004 will now sync to the same database the
System Address Book and iCal use. Therefore, if you sync your phone
through iSync, it should sync with that common database now.

Just make sure you set the prefs in Entourage to sync to SyncServices.

I don't use address book and ical though, is there anyway to bypass this?
That's why I never used e2sync or others...

Oh, so you can't sync tasks?

I was waiting forever for this update but it appears to be quite lame :(

You don't have to use Address Book or iCal--it just appears in iSync as if
they're coming from Address Book or iCal when they're indeed coming from the
Sync Services database. You should be able to even delete those apps from
your computer and everything will continue to work.

Does it really matter ?? All that you need is to have Entourage sync the
data to the SyncServices database for iSync to use. Having the data in
the AB and iCal won;t make much of a difference for you,
Oh, so you can't sync tasks?

Tasks sync with the SyncServices, but I'm not sure iSync will use them
to sync to the phone though... Synce my phone won't sync with my Mac
anyway, I've never tried that.
Tasks sync to my Clié through The Missing Sync so technically it could
work. It's really up to iSync.

Forgot to address tasks--

It does sync tasks. Just that Apple doesn't separate from tasks (todos) and
events within their Sync Service-related dialogs and UI. We made the
decision to match Apple's design within our Sync Services implementation.
You'll notice the second checkbox in the Entourage Sync Services preference
pane reads "Synchronize events and *tasks* with iCal and .Mac"

BTW, I've got a SE w800i that I sync all the time without issues. Not sure
what the difference between the P910 and the W800's software is, but
Entourage with Sync Services definitely works with SonyEricsson phones.

Generally, as Entourage hooks into iSync, any device listed on the following
page should work:

I don't know if it matters for syncing, but there is a huge difference in
software between these two devices. Sony Ericsson smartphones (like the
P910) are based on the Symbian OS. "Regular" phones (like the w800) are not.
