I'm trying to sync up the task list between a couple machines. If this is something that entourage cannot do, is there some other software that behaves similarly to this that will allow syncing over a network?

Entourage does not support syncing tasks with Exchange Server.

No workaround or third party software has been developed to date that
can do this with Entourage.

One option is to use Outlook with CrossOver Mac
<http://www.codeweavers.com> or Parallels <http://www.parallels.com> if
you're running Intel Macs.

Hope this helps!

Is there even a possibility of implementing this sort of functionality in the future, or are their any third party products available or in development that you are anybody else are aware of that would provide this?

This seemed like a fairly simple request when I began searching for a solution (this is not the first forum I've inquired about this).

Sending your feedback to Microsoft will help move this up on the priority
