Hi,
Using Groove 2007 with:
* MS Server 2003 machine - always on/always connected to the Internet
* Lapotp 1 (XP SP2) - roaming user, often connected to the Internet
* Laptop 2 (XP SP2) - roaming user, often connected to the Internet
* Workstation (also MS Server 2003) - only rarely on (used for backup).
Largish file sharing workspace (750 MB / 3000 files) - all machines Groove
2007 set for FULL AUTOMATIC DOWNLOAD.
File Sharing Workspace has all synced OK - then noticed in the past few days
that if Laptop 1 creates new file/directory that it syncs OK to "always on"
MS SERVER 2003 machine... but if the other machines (Laptop 2 and
Workstation) sync later on then it does update the directories... *but*
only with the *.gfs files, rather than automatically downloading the full
file.
I note that if I then double-click on any of the *.gfs files the files will
then download manually!
However, since all machines are set to FULL AUTOMATIC DOWNLOAD I would
expect them to automatically download the full file for any changes made or
new files added.
Any help to resolve this very much appreciated.
Cheers,
Nick
