sync with Palm produces duplicates

Every time I sync Outlook 2007 with my Treo 700p, I end up with duplicates in
both contacts and calendar views. I haven't been able to find the cause of
this or any solutions for it anywhere. Does anyone know what might be causing
my problem?

Thanks for your reply. I know it is somehow linked to the sync software and
am still investigating possible solutions, but thought I would just ask in
case someone here had dealt with a similar problem.
