Sync with Palm

I'm trying to sync my Tungsten E with Entourage 2004. Followed
suggestion on
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/otherp.../feature_articles/officex/en_palmsynchnew.xml
(which says to click the "enable sync with these new handhelds" in the
conduit dialog box) but did not work. Also have disabled Office
Notifications and made sure there are no recurring events with no
end-dates. The error message that comes up starts like this: "A
conflict in the installed conduits has been detected." Is there
anything else I can do?

I'm not a Palm user so can't offer any specific help. I do suggest you check
the Palm section for tips that have been posted by other users.

First, quit HotSync Manager. Then, in your hard drive, navigate to
/Library/Application Support/Palm HotSync/Conduits/. Make sure all Palm
Desktop conduits ("Address Conduit", "Calendar Conduit", "Contacts Conduit",
"Datebook Conduit", "Memo Conduit", "Memos Conduit", "Photos Conduit",
"Tasks Conduit", "ToDo Conduit", and "Voice Memo Conduit") are stored in the
"Disabled Conduits" folder within the "Palm HotSync" folder. That should
allow synchronziation to proceed.

You might need to create the "Disabled Conduits" folder in the "Palm
HotSync" folder if it doesn't yet exist.
