AFAIK, unless it's an Apple product made recently, it won't know about
iCloud. My version Office 2011 doesn't support Cloud-anything. Which
is fine because I'm running 10.6.8. On the 10.7.5 system, it's no
different.
Unless you have a drop-box or Google Drive or some other thing setup, I
think your best bet is to stick with those options. They work across
multiple platforms.
