Synced up audio notes from pocket PC to outlook 2002; how to extract them now

I synced up audio notes from pocket PC to outlook 2002. Now I need to
export the audio notes into separate audio files that I can store and
probably archive separately.
Exporting from outlook 2002 allows me to create a pst file but it
consists of all audio notes. I am looking for an ability to extract
each of the audio note in a *separate* file. Can anyone please share on
if this is possible and how to do this

These are attachments, right? If so, search for 'housekeeping' without
quotes at www.slipstick.com - there are utilities to search/save attachments
into the file system.

Audio files synched as Notes between a Windows Mobile PDA and Outlook cannot
be extracted from the Notes folder as audio files. If you want to transfer
audio files from a Windows Mobile PDA to your desktop PC, you must use
Windows Explorer while your PDA is cradled to copy the actual WAV file.

Hi
Thanks for your response. I did not understand it fully.
a) The recordings in windows PDA are not attachements to email. Rather
they are separate files within notes.
b) You have mentionedWhen I hook the PDA to my PC, it starts microsoft activ sync that sync
the notes and the files. However, since the recordings are in notes -
it syncs that to outlook notes. How do I use the windows explorer? Can
you please describe step by step
Thanks

While IPAQ is connected, go to My Computer, then double-click on Mobile
Device. You will see all your notes including your recording file listed
here. You can now drag this file to anywhere on your PC. It is a .wav file.
It can then be burned from PC to a CD.

Well, using ActiveSync 4.5 beta, I find that if I open the note, there is an
embedded OLE sound object that will play I can find no way to save the
embedded object. You can also click the Explore button in ActiveSync and
copy the .PWI file to a folder on the PC and open it. It opens with Word
and the sound obect is embedded in it. It will play using Sound Recorder.
