Hi there,
I'm running Exchnage 2003 RC1 on Server 2003 Enterprise (final) on the
server and Outlook 2003 Beta 2 on the XP (SP1) workstation. In cached mode,
Outlook is continually failing to synchronize the entire Contacts list. It
always fails after getting only a partial list of the contacts. The synch
log gives the following:
6:49:26 Downloading from server 'server.netsyn.net'
6:49:28 Error synchronizing folder
6:49:28 [80070057-30FFFFFF-0-560]
6:49:28 Microsoft Office Outlook Offline Folders
6:49:28 For more information on this failure, click the URL below:

6:49:28 Synchronizing server changes in folder 'Inbox'
I can't seem to find any information about that error anywhere and the link
it provides takes me to a TechNet article about synchronization issues with
Outlook 2000 which is, for the most part, not relevant, though I did try the
applicable steps for resolution in that article to no avail. This only
occurs in cached mode and when not, all the contacts are available.
Can anyone shed some light on this problem or a possible cause or solution?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
