Hi,
I am fairly competant with using Access and MySQL.
What I need is an Access Database which when opened automatically
synchronises itself with a MySQL database on a remote server when there is
an internet connection.
The issue I have is I have a web database which is automatically updated by
clients but also I spend a lot of time "on the road" with my laptop and so
still need to be able to look at and edit certain information. But of
course, on the road I have no internet connection so the changes I make to
the database on my laptop are not reflected in the web database!
Ideally, each time I open MS Access, I would like it to check to see if
there is an internet connection present, and if there is, synchroize the 2
databases. I.E Bring changes from MySQL to my machine and send changes on
my machine to MySQL.
Is this possible? If so, how?
Many thanks in advance,
Oli
