Synchronization Issue

I have been using ON betas (have latest with TR) successfully on a desktop
(XP Pro) and Laptop (XP Pro). Recently upgraded laptop to Vista RC1 (build
5600). My ON on desktop is 12.0.4017.1003 and laptop 12.0.4407.1003. Could
not get laptop (wireless) to load primary ON files from desktop. Finally
installed NetworkMagic (4.0) and was able to successfully see and load ON
Notebooks on laptop. However, updating/synchronization is not occuring.
Laptop says no problems, but desktop says "Some sections in this Notebook
could not be synchronized". The error message says "This section appears to
be from a newer version of OneNote. OneNote cannot open this newer format
(Error Code 0xE00000CA)".

Any suggestions?

Both machines show a 5/24/06 8:04PM date on the OON-EN install file. Not
sure how/why the versions are different. Are the TR updates still available?

Thanks.

As your version numbers indicate, you don't have the latest beta (TR) on
both computers. Install the B2TR patch on your desktop.
