Synchronization of Outlook Contacts

I have a contact database on my office computer, and another one one my home
computer - my office computer gets updated as does my home computer - what I
would like to do is consolidate and synchornize both contact lists so that
all of the data is consistent between the two contact databases.
My office computer runs outlook 2000 and my home computer runs outlook
2003.
I would like to replciate/synchronize on a regular basis to ensure that they
are always up to date.
What is the best method to do this, so that information does not get lost or
over written - my first thought is to use a "go between" such as a compaq
IPAQ.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated,

If you have an ipaq...go for it! That's what I do and it works great
