Hi,
I purchased a new laptop. I installed Office XP. Without my
knowledge, there was an nonactivated trial version of Office 2003
installed on the laptop. I uninstalled the Office 2003.
I transfered my application settings using Windows Files and Settings
Transfer Wizard. Everything appeared to be working normally.
I installed Palm sychronization software that came with my Treo 650
(Sprint). Outlook would not sychronize. I attempted to sychronize the
Palm with a clean profile. Again, I received the OLERR errors.
I copied the .pst file from my new laptop, to my old computer. I
sychronized the old computer with my Palm. It functioned properly.
I copied the .pst from my old laptop to the new laptop. I attempted to
sychronize the Palm with the new laptop. It failed.
I installed my accounting and time billing softwares onto the new
laptop. I attempted to re-engage the links between Timeslips and
Outlook. The links failed, similar to when attempting to link Outlook
with Palm.
This leads me to believe the problem is with the settings of the MS
Outlook on my computer. I need to fix these problems immediately. If
you know the solution please help.
Alternatively, I am willing to hire an expert to resolve the problem.
I live in Dallas, Texas.
Thanks.
