Synchronize contacts using Briefcase?

Hi there! Could I do the above? My boss and I have the problem of having
dissimilar databases, with hers being the most up-to-date. We're not on a
network and I do a lot of work from home. I thought if I saved all the
contacts as vcards in a folder and then used briefcase to look at both
files, that could tell me which of my contacts need to be updated.

Would this work, or am I totally out to lunch here? If not, is there a
program out there that can do a compare of data items and tell me which ones
are different?

Thanks in advance!

Dear Carmen,

the "Briefcase" solution wouldn´t "update" the different items. It could
synchronize the complete contact items but if you both would change the same
contact, the newe item will overwrite the older one.

I prefer to use a 3rd party synchronisation tool that supports a "Escalation
inquiry by reciprocally changed entries".

A list of 3rd party utilities are on this sites:
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/sync.htm

or on this Microsoft site:
