Synchronize mdb files

Mark Smith

Hi Eric -

As you know, you cannot share mdb files directly since Grooves' binary
synchronization would probably break them.

I'm putting the finishing touches to a demo application we're doing for a
client that takes data from Access (or any other database) into Groove and
back again.

If you're interested, drop me an email or instant message.

Oh sorry I didn't know about the binary sync breaking them, I know some file systems e.g. HP UNIX ? would frequently end up with
corrupted Access files, we would also get this regularly with Netware when desktops crashed at a company where I was network admin,
so I am aware they mdb files are sensitive, but the binary synchronization is over my head.

That's probably more than we need, for now we are just zipping them we need to transfer.

Thanks!
Eric
