Synchronize OneNote Files Across Computers

I take classroom notes on my tablet using OneNote, which really works great.
However, at home, I want to be able to work with my notes on either my
tablet or on my desktop. After posting some inquiries, I came up with a
piece of software called BeInSync. It's a peer-to-peer application that
seems to do the trick via the internet. I can work on either computer and
changes are reflected within seconds on the other. I can't work on the same
file at the same time on both computers, however. And they need to sync
before I work on the file on the other computer or the files get
"conflicted."

Does anyone else have similar synchronization solutions I could check out
that might be better than BeInSync, especially in the tablet/OneNote
environment?

Thanks,
Dave

You could direct the onenote on the desktop to use the tablet's (assuming
you have the notebook folder shared) notebook folder. Thus your tablet must
be at home to use onenote on your desktop.
Also assuming you've got wireless, or some other type of network connection.

I use the Microsoft Power toy called synctoy and it works very well to date.

Good suggestion, David. SyncToy is not a Tablet PC-specific PowerToys
offering from Microsoft, but one which is offered under the operating system
PowerToys for Windows XP (which is the Tablet PC operating system) here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

I'll second that recommendation. I use SyncToy daily to automate
backing up several folders of data on my computer at work to a USB hard
drive, so that I can access the data on my computer at home, and to back
up my data at home for use at work. Kind of a poor-man's LapLink, not
so many of the bells and whistles of LL but gets the basic job done.
