How can I put a task of the another project as a predecessor of a task
of my project?

1. Lets assume that you have 2 projects named ProjA & ProjB. ProjA with 5
tasks and ProjB with 8 tasks.
2. opened both projects and from Window menu clicked Arrange All. Now you
see both files split in the window
3. doubled clicked Task 2 from Proj A (or right click and chose properties)
4. clicked Predecessors tab.
5. clicked ID filed and entered the external link to Task 3 frpm ProjB
(<>\ProjB.publised\3 and then Pressed OK. You will noticed that in ProjA
there will be a dimmed task (this is the external task from ProjB)

Let me know if you got it :)

There's more than one way to skin this cat. Samer's method works, however
there's an easier way that doesn't require you to do any typing.

1) Open a new project
2) From the Insert menu select Project and insert both projects into a
temporary master project
3) Expand the projects in your new temporary master project
4) While holding the control key, first select the predecessor task, then
select the successor task in the second project
5) Click the link tasks button on the standard toolbar.

This method makes working with two or more projects very easy. Be very
careful and very judicious when linking projects together as this opens the
door to circular relationships that are very difficult to detect and repair!
