Synchronize with a macro

I'm writing a database that's integrated with SharePoint. We use offline
files and will need to synchronize on a regular basis. The users are not
necessarily technically savvy so i would like to do the Synchronize process
with either VBA or a macro.
Can someone please let me know how to do that?
