Synchronized scrolling

In a pc version of excel, I was comparing the rows of two documents,
which I had placed one above the other on the screen. By moving the
scroll bar in the top document, the bottom document would automatically
scroll at the same time (and vice-versa). There doesn't seem to be a
way to do this in Excel 2004. It would help immensely to have this
feature. Is it in the 2004 version?

This would require event macros in MacXL. I don't think I've ever seen
this in WinXL, either, without macros.

If you horizontally split a single window (Window/Split) both halves
will be synchronized when scrolling horizontally, but that's only one
document.
