I have Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager installed on my desktop PC.
I also have it installed on my laptop for travel.

I know I can copy my .pst file to a flash drive and then open the .pst file
on my laptop, for travel purposes. What I can't seem to find out is if I have
to do anything more to transfer my BCM information to the laptop. Is there
any other file I need to copy to the laptop for BCM?

PS - I don't use BCM at this time, but I do have several accounts set up in
it. I plan to use it some day, but have sort of abandoned it for now. Do I
even need to bother with copying BCM into to the laptop at this time?

Thanks for your help and advice!

There's an offline feature in Outlook that's the closest to what you
are looking for.

Make sure you have the same user name and password on your desktop and
laptop.

On your desktop, you create a BCM database, and then share it.

On your laptop, instead of creating a database, choose to use the use
the BCM database on your desktop, and also select the "make available
offline" option. That will create a database on you laptop, which will
synchronize with your desktop database when ever the two machines are
on the same network.

The help files have more details.
