Synchronizing 5 users with Microsoft Outlook

Is it possible to synchronize contact information between offsite and onsite
users through Microsoft Outlook? We are currently using ACT! and trying to
decide whether to change to Microsoft Outlook. Also, can you do multiple,
imbedded lookups within Microsoft Outlook?
