Synchronizing appoinments in calendar

Is there a way to synchronize appoinments made on two calendars?

For example: An appointment is made on Calendar 1. The appoinment is then
automatically placed on Calendar 2. If the appointment is deleted or changed
on Calendar 1, it is deleted or changed on Calendar 2.
