Synchronizing Entourage/Outlook

Is there a way to synchronize between Entourage on a Mac and Outlook on
PCs?

I used to synchronize between these two platforms with a Palm m130, but
since I upgraded to a Treo 650 it simply doesn't work. The
synchronization process make dublets.

I have now installed BlueTooth om both the G4/867 Mac and a Windows XP
Pro computer. On the latter I see the option to synchronize Outlook with
another Outlook, but what about Entourage?

No need to invest in an Exchange server of your own. Several service
providers offer Exchange hosting for a few dollars per month. Have a
look at this page on Microsoft's website for a list of partner
businesses

I know of this alternative. I will /not/ use $14 a month on that, for
synchronization only. This is what the solution would cost on
DanDomain.dk, the place I hold my mail hotel.

What do you need synchronized. I mean _need_.

If you're using an IMAP account, the mail is mostly taken care of, because
both apps would use the same mail server store.

If you also need to sync contacts, then you might want to consider Sync
Services support in Entourage (make sure you're fully updated with Entourage
2004 and then check the preferences) to sync your contacts to Apple Address
Book et. al. Then, you could use the Plaxo sync utility on each computer. (I
have no experience with it, but it _should_ in theory let you sync contacts
between these apps.)

I don't have any great ideas about sync for other types of data, including
calendars, unfortunately.

Even with Exchange, not all kinds of data are synchronized between Entourage
and Outlook.

I've got no problems with mail. Outlook [and VersaMail on my Palm Treo]
is set up to let e-mails remain on my mail server - only Entourage will
automatically remove old e-mails.

I'm mainly interested in synchronizing Contacts and Calendar.
