Synchronizing problem

I have several notebooks stored on a SharePoint server. I use them just about
everyday. Recently one notebook will not sync. The status indicator returns:
waiting for updates from a few days ago. How do I resolve this problem?

Do you have any embedded files in the notebook? Sometimes if the
filename contains characters that are not allowed by SharePoint, OneNote
will enter the waiting for update state. To fix this, go through the
notebook in OneNote and remove any embedded files that you recently
added that might have names that are not allowed on SharePoint. You can
then rename the files and re-insert them with a different name.
