Yesterday my auto update (windows xp or office 2003) installed something -
don't know what.
Ever since, outlook is outrageously slow on start up. Chewing up every
available resource I have, took over 5 minutes to pull up task manager with
ctrl alt del.
Noticed this icon on task bar that says "Microsoft office outlook is
synchronizing folders" which I've never seen before. My send receives are
timing out while it's acting up. Takes a little over 2 hours for it to clear
up resources enough for me to do something else at 1990 speed, and the
"synchronizing folders" is still running...
I have a wireless network hooked into DSL at 11 Mbps.
1) How do I find out what was installed and get rid of it?
2) What is it synchronizing? I don't have anything to synchronize to when
it says it's synchronizing, as my blackberry wasn't connected. No other
servers to synchronize with either - just send/receive on my pop3 email
accounts.
I'd like my computer back please!
