Syncing backwards to 2003?

Does anybody know if its possible to synchronize backwards to outlook 2003?
I have 2007 on my laptop and don't really want to mess around with it on my
desktop so i have 2003 on there. Is there anyway to synchronize things
backwards so i can view them on my desktop as well? (This would also be
handy so i could synchronize to my palm treo as well since 2007 and palm treo
software dont want to talk.)

Sync settings? You mean messages/items? Pst-files created with Outlook 2007
can also be read in Outlook 2003.

maybe leave mail on the server so you can download it with ol2003?

I'm tying to sync calendar/and tasks. I dont care about the email i just
want ot be able to see the calendar and tasks on both computers.

So what method of synching are you using right now? If you tell us that then
we could tell you if that is backwards compatible.

Well right now i have two computers, one is running outlook 2007(my laptop)
and one is running outlook 2003(my desktop). I currently sync on the desktop
using the standard palm software that connects to outlook 2003 and pulls my
calendar and tasks. Right now palm software doesnt support outlook 2007
directly, so i was wondering if i could synchronize my tasks/calendar from my
outlook 2007 machine on my laptop , to outlook 2003 on my desktop and then be
able to dump it to my treo 650.

So what method of synching are you using right now? If you tell us that then
we could tell you if that is backwards compatible.
