syncing email between two computers

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

I use entourage on my desktop and my laptop. if i open an email on one computer, it doesnt ever show in the other one. is there a way to sync so both computers show all teh email adn calendar activity regardless of which computer was the "originator.?

leave a copy on the server is your solution. POP account download your email
from the server and thus this email is no longer there when you access it
using your 2nd machine.

Go to Tools>Accounts>Edit>Options:
check the option of leave a copy on server.

Another option is to switch to an IMAP account.
