Syncing Notes with iPhone

Does anyone know if iPhone syncs with notes in Entourage and how to get it to work? The notes with mac mail will sync, but I use Entourage for everything, calendar to tasks.

As of the iPhone 3.0 update from Apple earlier this week, Notes from
Apple's Mail will sync with the iPhone.

However, in my limited testing, I could not get Entourage Notes to sync
to the iPhone. I enabled Notes syncing in Entourage's preferences and
also in iTunes. Nothing transferred. Entourage will sync notes with
MobileMe, but that's only really useful if you're syncing another
Entourage mail client.

This is probably because the formats for storing Notes are different
between Apple and Microsoft.

You can look at third party applications such as The Missing Sync from
Mark/Space <http://www.markspace.com/iphone/>.

I have the same issue. According to both Microsoft and Apple, iPhone OS 3.0 should allow for 2-way sync for Notes, but I have yet to get this to work. It worked briefly under 2.1 when I was using Missing Sync to manage the notes, but that stopped working after installing the latest Office updater. Before installing 3.0, I uninstalled Missing Sync and even signed up for Moble.Me. Entourage still refuses to load my notes.

The notes are available in Apple's Mail.app, which seems to be syncing the notes just fine. I tried using the XCode sync diagnostics utility (Syncrhonator?) and it was showing Entourage Notes as being eligible to sync. Right now, my only way of accessing Notes is through Apple's Mail.app, but would like to figure out what's wrong with Entourage.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Per Williams Smith's suggestion I looked at The Missing Sync and when I wasn't sure if it would work with the iPhone 3G I emailed them for more info. When they got back to me they said that they were working on a beta version and I could try that. I've been using it for about a few days and it does link with Entourage. It does have some bugs, but I've been able to work around them mostly.
