Syncing Outlook With POP3

Hi All,

Looking for some suggestions here to solve the following problem.

I have a windows 7 laptop at home that my wife and I share. We both
live out of the same outlook pst file. We live out of the same .pst
file because: we have a shared family email address (we use a pop3
email service), we have a calendar that we both keep up to date, we
have the same contacts, etc. To break us apart from this would be a
problem

I also have an android phone where I can see the emails that come in,
but I never respond to them because the response never makes it back
to master outlook pst file. I also don't respond using the pop3 web
interface for the same reason....the drafts, sent messages, etc never
make it back to the master outlook file.

It is now coming to a point, where I need to buy another laptop, but I
still would like that master outlook file to contain all messages
(incoming, sent, draft, etc)....no matter where the email was sent
from (web, android, laptop1, laptop2).

I have this type of setup at work where I have a blackberry, two pcs,
and a outlook web interface and no matter where I send from all are in
sync (realize I am probably using an exchange server).

Does anyone know what type of home setup I could use to keep this in
sync? I am figuring I need some type of server to host the pst file,
but how can I reply from my android and ensure that the sent messages
make it to the pst file.

Ideally, I would like the contacts and calendar to do the exact same
thing and I am not sure if you can consider this in your response.

Thanks in advance.

I think you can set up something like you want through the Gmail IMAP
server. I'm not entirely sure if everything you want is possible that
way but it's worth a look.
