Syncing set-up problems

Hi,

I'm trying to set up sync services, but it doesn't seem to be working. I've
tried looking through all the help sites, but I can't find anything that
addresses this issue.

I have turned on Sync Services in the Entourage preferences panel. I have
enabled all of the various possibilities in the .Mac sync panel.

I have "synced" several times (using the .mac sync icon), but nothing has
changed in either the Address Book (on either Entourage OR Apple's Address
Book). There have been no changes in either calendar.

I want, of course, to be able to share information between two computers.
But if I can't see changes happening on ONE computer, how will they happen
through .Mac to a second? (Eventually, once I get this right, with a PDA --
but that will become a different battle)

I only have one identity on this computer (called "Main Identity" in the
Identity panel. The computer's "name" is "Gary at Work".

I am running Entourage 2004 with all the current updates (11.3.3). I am
using a PowerBook G4 with OS 10.4.9.

What's (not) going on?

If you still have trouble report back with as many details as possible.

The 11.3.5 Office updater includes a new version of Entourage's Spotlight
importer /Library/Spotlight/Microsoft Entourage.mdimporter. Some people are
having problems with Spotlight after the update. See these fixes:

Thanks. This worked . . . On the second try.

I had to "rewrite" everything from .Mac, but that was okay. We seem to be
good now. At least on this computer. Now I'll have to try syncing to
another.
