syncing with iCal and Google calendar

I have sort of figured out the ical sync thing but the problem I am having is every time I sync it adds to my entourage again so on some dates I have multiple listings of the same event. Its really clutters up my entourage calendar.

Also, I am attempting to use a google web based calendar to keep my family calendar up to date so my wife can add thing through out the day. I can't seem to get it to sync with my entourage. Can you help me with this?

Entourage has a number of sync services issues and this is one of the
results. I'm guessing in Entourage's sync services prefs you have all
3 modules enable for sync. If you enable just one module at a time for
sync, the sync's are generally reliable. In your case, just enable the
calendar and tasks module in Entourage prefs for sync. You should find
your sync's fine. If you need to sync another module switch to that
but make sure only that module is enabled for sync otherwise you'll
end up with precarious results. Microsoft has not been able to fix
this till this date and we are all anxiously waiting.

In terms of Google sync, I don't use that but I don't think there
should be any issue. Just think of this as a sync solely with iCal.
This sync gets generated back to Entourage. As far as I know, iCal/
Google work fine. You might even ask if you need Entourage in the
picture. If you only need iCal maybe you don't have to concern
yourself with Entourage sync and the issues to ensure reliable sync's.
