Syncing with Palm on Mac instead of Outlook

Any advice on firing up my MacBook with data from Outlook and then
being able to sync my Palm TX and get the Contact and Calendar
updates, the way I used to on my PC? Now I have Office 2004 with
Entourage and cannot get the data (RE: iCal--I am retyping all dates--
is that the only way? RE: Apple's Address book--I lost some
[additional data like notes] by creating a tab-delimited data base and
using "Custom" fields--Is that the only way? I can use the Palm
Desktop, but that's not integrated with the ideal, which is iCal,
Apple's Address Book and iMail. iMail can take a feed from
Entourage. I tried Entourage but have no way to get the Outlook
eMails [critical for me] or Contacts or Calendar data over.

Well if you have an Exchange account, you can onfigure it in Entourage
and get all this data on you MacBook.

Otherwise, you'll need to export it all and re-import it in Entourage:

Once it's all in there you can either use the Palm conduit and the Palm
application, or activate SyncServices in Entourage to sync to the Mac
central database (and with the SYstem Address book and iCal) and use the
Missing Sync to sync with your Palm.

I sure wouldn't use that to sync with a Palm. The conduits make it
tremendously easier,
