syncronize with iPAQ 211

I have recently purchased an Inspiron 1520 dual 2gig with Vista and an iPAQ
211 with Windows 6. I seem to have them correctly connected and the iPAQ
indicates connection. I add things to the iPAQ & the laptop but the
synchronization dose not seem to be happening. I have worked with different
software on other computers, XP Professional and iPAQ 2215, that one worked
flawlessly. Any suggestions?

Did you install Windows Mobile Device Center already? It's Vista's version
of ActiveSync.

As Outlook doesn't play an active role in the sync process, the proper
