Syncronized Outlook Inbox. How can I sync remaining Outlook featu.

I've finally managed to syncronize my Work & Home Outlook programs, but that
only seems to cover the Inbox. I can't seem to get copies of Sent Mail or of
reminders in my calendar. I want to be able to see Sent Messages and Replies
to mail. Also I need my Contacts and Calendar items from my work computer on
my home computer.

Synchronized may have been the wrong word to use. I have set up my work email
account on Outlook at home. I am now able to read my work Inbox on my home
computer. Why can't I also read my Sent Mail and access my Calendar and
Contacts from the work computer, via the home computer? Why does mail already
read on one computer still show as unread on the other?

Maybe synchronized was the wrong word. I have set up my work email account on
Outlook at home. I am now able to read my work Inbox on my home computer. Why
can't I also read my Sent Mail and access my Calendar and Contacts from the
work computer, at home? Why does mail already read on one computer still show
as unread on the other?

Presumably because you are not connecting to the Exchange Server at work by
VPN.
If you don't use Exchange server at work, then it becomes quite complicated,
involving IMAP and Calendar sharing via Office online and other methods.

I use VPN at home if I take home their laptop to access other programs as
well as Outlook, but on my own computer I am just using Outlook without any
provision for VPN. Where does that leave me now?

I set up the account in Outlook by going to Tools/E-mail Accounts/ then
copied every detail of settings in the Wizard to match the two computers
exactly.
Don't know how to explain type of account, but addresses are
(e-mail address removed) (as in .uk, .bb, etc)

What type of account do you have at work?

Basically you can't see anything other than the Inbox and those emails you
have sent from that machine.
You won't be able to see any other mail folders unless your work allows IMAP
email - if they are using Exchange then I suspect they won't.
To see your calendar you will have to first publish it online somewhere at
work - Office Online allows published calendars, but ONLY, AFAIK, if you are
using Outlook 2007. No prior version allows you to subscribe to an internet
calendar.
Why not ask your IT dept if you can set up VPN from your home computer?
Or sync your Work Outlook with a PDN or Cellphone?

No, it's not 2007. Both computers are using 2003, so I guess there is no easy
solution.
