SyncToy spasmodic problem

D

Dan

I have SyncToy v 2.0 and have successfully used it for some weeks now,
synchronizing my laptop with a USB Flash Drive. Of a sudden, When I plug in
the Flash Drive and start up SyncToy (or even the other way around) I get the
following error: "Unable to access the G: drive. Is the Network connected or
are all removable devices plugged in?".
Can anyone help me?
Thanks!
Dan

I also have this on my network at home when syncing my favorites folder with
the other four computers on the network. The simple solution, even though
it is a PITA, is to open Windows Explorer, navigate to both drive's
directories that you are syncing and once that is done SyncToy works great.

Seems SyncToy loses the drive information and needs to be refreshed by using
Explorer every so often.

That simple solution solved my problem and I appreciate the help.
