Hi,
What's the solution for the following problem...
If you fill in a table in Excel by using another font e.g. Syntax and
copy it to Word. The layout will be damaged. Syntax is less wide than
Arial and if placed in Word, words are cut, and no longer readable.

This is a big problem in reports with lots of tables and text.

Hope there's a solution,
Thanks, Marty

I don't know about the Arial thing But you are aware that you can size
each of the columns in Word. I haven't used an excel table with word in
a long time but the last time I did I was able to to resize the columns.

The entire width of the complete Table though is constrained by the
width you have set in word.

If it's "fixed", don't "break it"!

Well, more specifics would be helpful...

What version of Office?
What version of OS X?
What level are each updated to?
What type of Mac? How much RAM?
What happens if you create a table in Word using the same font, then
copy/paste it to a different doc?
Does anything change if you scroll the table out of view then scroll back to
it?
Where do you have the font installed?
What - exactly - do you mean by "layout will be damaged"?

What would prevent you from setting the resulting table into Syntax font in
Word?
