Syntax to enter comments in the SQL SELECT statement ?

Hello.

I have a very long SELECT statement in my application (7 pages when
pretty-printed). I would like to enter comments in SELECT statement to
make it easier (actually to make it possible) to understand and debug,
but I did not find the syntax for comments in Access 2003 help.

How do I enter a comment in the SQL SELECT statement for a query ?

In Access, you can't add comments to the SQL statement. Something that has
been on the wish list of a lot of people for a long time.
